AUGI Board of Directors Election

If you attended the AUGI Annual Meeting Wednesday evening at Autodesk University, you learned AUGI has an exciting year ahead of it.  Perhaps the most exciting announcement was the return of AUGI CAD Camps.  More details should be out soon, however you can read the AUGI CAD Camp press release from September.  Outside of CAD Camps, we learned the board will focus on many other initiatives including the development of a new website in the coming year. With so much planned there’s no doubt 2010 should be an exciting year for AUGI.

In addition to outlining the plan for the coming year, the AUGI Board of Directors Ballot was also unveiled. This year’s ballot is made up of 9 individuals including myself. Provided you were an AUGI member 30 days prior to the close of nominations on October 26, 2009, you are eligible to vote for the 8 candidates you would like to see elected to the board. Prior to casting your vote, you can learn more about each candidate, and even pose questions to them within the Board Candidate Discussion Forum. The election is open until 12:01 CST on December 16th.
