Autodesk University 2010 doesn’t officially begin until Tuesday, but that hasn’t stopped several energetic attendees from finding their way to Vegas a few days early. The stage here at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, NV is nearly set, and will soon welcome 6,102 attendees to this year’s conference.
If you’re among those attending AU in Vegas this year, be sure to visit the Registration desk as soon as you can. With over 6,000 expected attendees, you’ll want to get ahead of the crowds before the Tuesday morning rush. So after you settle into your room, take a quick walk over to the conference center to check in at the AU registration desk.
Those who have attended AU over the last several years have certainly noticed the conferences “greening” trend. That trend continues this year, as a printed show guide will not be included in your registration packet. Instead you’re encouraged to download the Show Guide prior to the conference.
Speaking of downloads, if you have a smartphone, iPad, or other mobile internet device – be sure to check out the Mobile Show Guide. The AU team has done an excellent job assembling all the information you need to find your way around the conference in one place.
Finally, for those who can’t make it to Vegas this year – be sure to check out AU Virtual. With AU Virtual, you’ll be able to get a front-row seat to the keynotes as they are broadcast live, network with other Virtual attendees, even select from an impressive catalog of more than 300 classes reserved for Virtual attendees with a Premiere pass.
Attending or interested in attending AU Virtual? Check out a recording of the 30-minute webcast I hosted last week on YouTube: Part 1, Part 2.
And finally, if you haven’t already done so – be sure to register for AU Virtual (Free).
