The CAD Geek Joins CADD Microsystems

I’m incredibly excited to announce I’ve joined Autodesk’s 2010 Reseller of the Year – CADD Microsystems (CMI). In my new position with CMI, I’ll primarily focus on serving AEC clients; sharing the potential of AEC solutions from Autodesk, providing training and helping firms apply all this cool technology in a way that actually enhances (not hinders) their productivity. Translation – I get to have a blast playing with CAD every day, and help individuals like you have as much fun working (playing) with it as I do!

So what’s this mean to my presence in the blogosphere? Not much. You can still count on me to share the same great tips, tricks, and industry insights I have on The CAD Geek for nearly five years! Who knows, maybe I’ll convince some of my new friends (colleagues) to join me by sharing some of their favorite tips and tricks?

Finding the right company to join has no doubt been an epic journey. While the list is impossibly long for me to name everyone individually, I do want to thank the CAD community for their support over the last year. To the fellow bloggers (both Autodesk and non-Autodesk), local user group members, blog visitors, twitter followers, even AU attendees I only had the opportunity to meet once – thank you!
