Where’s my Panorama Window?

The Panorama Window is a great design resource when working with either alignments or profiles. However the Panorama Window can prove temperamental at times, and absolutely refuse to display. So the question remains, how do I get the darn thing back?

In Civil 3D:

  • Minimize the current drawing (not the Civil 3D session, but the individual drawing).
  • Go to either “Alignments>Edit”, or “Profiles>Edit Profiles”
  • Click on the “Alignment/Profile Grid View” button

This should bring up the Panorama Window. More than likely the window was accidentally misplaced on the screen. Simply reposition it, and keep on rolling.
